Project Manager

Location: Greenville, SC

Experience: 3+ years


The project manager specializes in the planning, management, and execution of marketing campaigns and projects. They work with account managers and consultants to identify the skills and resources necessary to complete marketing projects on time and

within budget.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads the project team in in managing workflows internally, keeping Workamajig up to date, opening/closing projects, implementing schedules, organizing internal meetings, tracking deadlines, and other miscellaneous tasks to fulfill client and company needs.
  • Updates internal project tracking documents and client files as needed. Provides accurate and timely reports during traffic meetings.
  • Supports development, editing, formatting, and upkeep of reports, briefs, proposals, presentations, pitches, spreadsheets, etc., as needed.
  • Supports new business efforts, by assisting with proposal development and research.
  • Maintains awareness of client activities to provide backup for other team members as needed.
  • Maintains accurate records (physical/digital files) for all assigned accounts, detailing past, current and upcoming work.
  • Sets up projects in Workamajig and facilitates completion and necessary levels of review, as needed.
  • Maintains deadlines and ensures all projects proceed on time and according to plan and proactively communicates potential challenges to supervisor and/or internal team.
  • Maintains awareness of company standards of quality and client brand standards and ensures all work is consistent with each.
  • Develops an understanding of and upholds various account functions and agency processes to support company standards.
  • Demonstrates an eagerness to learn marketing strategy, planning, effective prioritization, project management, and industry trends.
  • Handles vendor relations as needed for clients.
  • Completes internal processes in a timely manner (i.e. timesheets, updating tasks lists, etc.) to support a timely and efficient billing process.
  • Maintains knowledge of project budgets based on approved client agreements and draws attention to potential overages or additional needs as they arise.
  • Serves as next line of support in absence of other team members.

Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree in marketing, communication, or related field; prior internships in the marketing industry a plus
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High competency level of computer and software skills compatible with job responsibilities, especially proficient in Microsoft Office suite
